Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 9, 2025

Welcome to Trello Export Tool (“us”, “we”, or “our”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our Trello Export Tool (the “Service”).

Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the site.

1. Our Service & Your Trello Data

Our Service provides a tool to export Trello board data. We want to be completely transparent about how this works:

  • No Data Storage: We do not save, store, copy, or log any of your Trello board data (including cards, lists, descriptions, etc.) on our servers.
  • Browser-Based Processing: All data fetching from the Trello API and conversion to CSV, JSON, or PDF happens entirely within your web browser (“client-side”). Your data never touches our server.
  • Trello OAuth (Private Boards): To access private boards, we use Trello’s official OAuth authentication system. This means you grant permission directly to Trello, and we only receive a temporary access token (key). We never see or store your Trello password. This token is stored in your browser’s `sessionStorage` and is deleted when you close the browser tab or click “Logout”.

2. Information We Collect (Non-Trello Data)

We may collect information that does not personally identify you, such as:

  • Log and Usage Data: Like most websites, our servers may automatically log standard information, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and the pages you visited. This data is used for website analytics (like Google Analytics) and to improve our service.
  • Cookies: We use cookies to enhance your experience. Cookies are small files stored on your computer. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies.

3. Advertising (AdSense & Ezoic)

To support our free service, we may use third-party advertising companies like Google AdSense and Ezoic to serve ads when you visit the website.

  • These companies may use information (not including your Trello data) about your visits to this and other websites to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
  • Google’s DART Cookie: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to users based on their visit to our site and other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google Ad and Content Network privacy policy.

4. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us (e.g., Trello.com, Atlassian.com). If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
